Five and Three.....How can it be????

Oh my, how time flies. I can't believe I am a mother of a five year old and a three year old. They are the two of my most loved people. They bring happiness, love, joy, splendor, hope, and occasional tears into our lives.
Hunter is the big 5!
He is so sweet, thoughtful, loving, and caring.
He is an official reader, always sounding out new words and reading new books.
He counts to 100!
He starts preschool on September 1st, and is so looking forward to something new and exciting in his life. (He says I'm boring!!)
Chance is three and full of LIFE!!! I always say, "If it's not Chancey's idea, it is not a good idea!"
He is a sweet boy who loves to read stories, wrestle, jump on Dad, eat snacks, play superheroes, and dress like superheroes.
Chance loves to cut paper, he counts to 10 and occasionally to 12. He knows his shapes, colors, and ABC's. He likes to be like Hunter and "sound out" words.

So, the boys got to celebrate their birthdays at SeaWorld while we were in California.
They were happy about that!
We have studied and read a lot about sharks, so it was fun to see them up close and personal.

Playing with the Starfish

Daddy held up the sea urchin for us and let us feel.

We got to do a fun ride above Mission Bay.

The Killer Whales were fun to watch, but we were sad that the trainers don't get in the water anymore.
Poison Arrow Frog
The colors on these things are amazing!!
Flamingos
Sea lions were fascinating

We got to do a few rides at Sea World. Here are Kelly and the boys making themselves sick!!!

After a fun day at Sea World, we asked the boys what they wanted for their b-day dinner.
Hunter immediately said he wanted shrimp.
So, we typed in the GPS that we wanted seafood and it took us to a pretty nice restaraunt where we had....SHRIMP.
Hunter had grilled shrimp and fruit.

Chance had fried shrimp and carrot sticks.

What a funny boy!

Hunter decided that he should get to take a few pictures of people too. So, he told us just how to smile and pose. Doesn't Geek look great?!?
When the waiter came and took our food order, Hunter gladly announced that it was their birthday today and that he was five and his brother was three. The waiter took note, and this is what they got.
Creme Brulee, fit for two kings and their accompanying adults.
The table next to us even joined in for singing the birthday song.
Holy Moly this was so rich, and sweet.
Hunter had to get a picture of me too. Three and five years ago on July 30th, I was busy birthing children.

This picture is such a great representation of how we all felt by the end of this night. Tired and crazy.
A Birthday to remember
